MY SCHOOL II ENDING FLASHBACK

The Ending of My School II is shown. Kevin stands in the yard of Sir John A. Macdonald Junior High. with a 2x4 piece of lumber. Kevin's brother Lafe approaches him holding a knife. The two of them fight it out. Lafe knocks the lumber out of Kevin's grasp with the knife and stabs him in the stomach. Kevin falls to the ground. Lafe chops Kevin with the knife repeatedly. Kevin dies. Lafe looks at Kevin's body, wanting to make sure it really is dead. Suddenly, it vanishes!

The ghost of Kevin flies over from the Junior High School to the High School. It is time to move up to a higher grade, and a new school!

Kevin materializes in front of John G. Diefenbaker, his new school. He looks at it in awe. Imagine; a whole new school of students to kill! He gives the school a middle finger salute and walks towards the front door. He is wearing his Skeleton mask. It is a brand new day. He marches on. (But first, he must kill his wretched brother who defeated him!)

MY SCHOOL III - The Psycho Pupil flashes on the screen in blue and orange lettering, suggesting 3-D. The title screen is split in half horizontally at the middle. The top half of the screen is orange and the bottom half is blue. The eerie title song: "The Three Shadows Part One" by Bauhaus plays loudly in the background. Cast credits and production credits are also shown, in the orange and blue 3-D lettering.

Kevin broke into his family house. (Unknown to most people, Kevin had just killed his mother.) He is looking around the house.

He finds a graduation card on a table for his brother Lafe. Lafe was moving from the Junior High School to the High School, and today was Lafe's first day at the new High School. Kevin threw the card on the ground.

He went over to a drawer and opened it up. Inside is a plastic Skeleton Mask. He takes it out and slips it over his face. His brother's voice is heard in his mind:

Lafe (creepy voice-over) - Kevin is there at My School. He will always be there. Kevin will never leave My School... My School... My School...

Kevin goes into the kitchen and opens up the cutlery drawer. He pulls out a knife, a hammer and a chisel. He scrawled a note and left it on the kitchen table. Then he went and hid in the closet near the front door for his brother to wake up...

Lafe Markson comes out of his bedroom in the morning. He sits down on a recliner and checks out the morning paper. He read one of the headlines.

It says: "Killings At Junior High School Last Year Still Unsolved."

He folds up the newspaper.

Lafe (to self) - Oh well, I wonder what's on the radio.

He goes over to the stereo and switches it on. The middle of a news report was on:

Announcer - A man has been arrested after the dismembered remains of three young men were found in the sewer. British police are look for as many as thirteen more. The awful discovery was made by a plumber, who had been called in to clear a clogged sewer.

Alan Parson's "May Be A Price To Pay" comes on the radio after the news.

Lafe goes over to the closet near the door. (Where Kevin was last seen hiding.) And slowly opens it up. Kevin isn't there! Lafe gets his shoes out of the closet and puts them on. He is about to go out the door, and then he stops.

Lafe - Damn, I forgot my books.

He goes into the kitchen, where his new binders are sitting. For the first time, he sees a note on the table. It looks like a note from his mother. (But is was scrawled by Kevin!) He sits down and reads the note.

Lafe Markson (reading) - Kids, I've gone shopping...

I'll be back in a few hours.

Kevin is standing behind Lafe, wearing a parka and his Skeleton Mask. He brings the sharp knife (which he collected earlier) across Lafe's throat. Blood gushes out of Lafe's neck. He starts gagging. He leans over and pukes all over the kitchen table. Kevin dropped the knife and went into the living room to get the hammer and chisel.

He held the edge of the chisel against Lafe's forehead, and struck it in with the hammer. It cracks into Lafe's skull. Blood pours all over Lafe's face. Kevin then carves away at Lafe's body with the knife. We are not exactly sure what he is doing. (We'll find out later.)

Kevin looks out the patio window to see if anybody had sighted him destroying his brother.

Kevin washes off the bloody weapons in the kitchen sink.

Kevin gets Lafe's school yearbook and opens it up. He looks for his own picture, but he cannot find it.

Kevin (saddened) - They forgot my picture! They forgot!

He crosses out the picture of his brother and locates another picture, one of Jim Anderson.

Kevin (sinister) - You will die... You will die...

A few moments later, the doorbell rings. Kevin answers the door, wearing his Skeleton Mask. Jim is at the door. He has come to walk to school with Lafe. Kevin is breathing heavily.

Jim - Is Lafe home?

Kevin (sadistic) - No, Lafe's dead.

Jim (confused) - Hey, what are you talking about? He can't be dead.

Kevin (psychotic) - Now...you...shall...die!

Kevin swings a wrench at Jim. Jim wrestles it out of Kevin's grasp. Kevin runs into the kitchen and gets a knife. Jim charges at Kevin and wrestles the knife out of Kevin's grasp. He pushes Kevin down to the ground. Jim stabs Kevin in the stomach with the knife. Kevin groans and stops moving, as if he were dead. Jim runs towards the front door to escape.

Kevin opens his eyes and sits up. He grabs the knife beside him and comes at Jim with it. Jim jumps out of the way, and the blade slams into the front door.

Jim runs towards the patio door, another means of escape. They were locked too, by a garden rake on the outside. Kevin stabbed Jim in the shoulder.

He falls down onto the kitchen floor. He gets up and headed for the cutlery drawer to find a weapon. He stops and sights something in the kitchen sink. It is Lafe's decapitated head. Jim gets grossed out and faints on the spot. Kevin comes into the room. He assumes Jim to be dead.

Kevin drops the knife into the sink and picks up the head of his brother which he cut off. The head almost slips out of his hands. He holds up the head and admires it. With his brother dead, he can now go to school.

A little kid is walking to school. Kevin jumps out in front of him, holding a big knife. The kid turns and runs in terror. Kevin doesn't bother chasing him. He continues his trek towards school.

A shot of the front of the school. Kevin enters the parking lot, wearing his Skeleton Mask. He walks up to the front door of the school, and goes inside. He has arrived!

Kevin comes out of a door near the stairwell, holding a rope. Brendan comes through a door from another hallway. He is wearing his gym clothes. He bumps right into Kevin, who is standing at the top of the stairwell. He looks at Kevin, who is wearing his Skeleton Mask.

Brendan (amused) - Who are you supposed to be?

Kevin kicks Brendan in the gut. He collapses to the ground. Kevin slips a noose over Brendan's neck. Brendan is making all kinds of gagging and wheezing sounds. Kevin ties the other end of the noose onto the railing at the top of the stairwell. He picks up Brendan and heaves him over the edge. Brendan's body yanks on the rope. His neck cracks. Blood pours out of his mouth and makes a puddle on the floor underneath. Brendan's shoe falls into the puddle of blood.

Kevin holds a bow and arrow, and wonders what to do with them.

Kevin comes out from under the stone stairway which leads into the north side of the school. He walks right up to the camera, blocking off the frame.

Rusty walks up the stairs where Brendan was hung. Kevin is standing at the top of the stairs with a bow and arrow. He shoots the arrow into Rusty's mouth. Blood pours out. Rusty groans and collapses on the stairs where he is standing.

Kevin runs down to Rusty's body holding a steak fork. He jabs it into Rusty's stomach, making a messy wound. Kevin dips his fingers into the stomach wound. He licks his lips.

Kevin's POV is shown, watching the school girl's basketball game. He is at the top of the bleachers. He speaks to himself, in his own voice, and as the voice of his dead mother.

Kevin (himself) - Mommy!

(mother) - Kevin! No! I don't care about you, Kevin.

(himself) - I will kill all of them. I will kill all of them! I am Kevin! I will kill every one of them. Every one of them. Every single one of them; at my school! Mommy, I'm gonna kill them...

Kevin's POV is shown, walking through the hallways of the school after the basketball game.

Kevin (himself) - Kill, kill, kill. I will kill them.

He walked past the office of the school police constable.

Kevin/Mother (scared) - No! You will be caught if you kill.

He turned away from the constable's office and turned down another hall.

Kevin (satirical) - I don't listen. Those stupid people can't capture me. I'm a wild animal. Yes, they don't listen to me.

He walks past the pop machine.

- They don't buy me a drink...

He looks over at the office.

-...they send me down to the office.

He looks at the names on the honour roll.

- They get top grades.

He walks over to the pay phones.

- They won't let me phone my Mommy. Mommy!

Kevin looks at a photograph on the wall of a graduating class.

- They graduate, and they leave me behind.

Kevin looks at the glass case with all the athletic trophies inside.

Kevin (resentful) - They get trophies, and I get nothing. That's not fair.

Kevin starts whining. He walks towards the science laboratories.

Kevin - They give me the dirty end of the stick. They don't do anything for me. They're cruel to me. I will kill them!

Kevin remembers how he killed the students at his former school. Some flashback scenes from "My School II" are shown, relating to what Kevin is saying.

Kevin - I remember what happened in the other school. It was many years ago -- many, many years ago. I came to school 'coz I hated them all. They will die. Every one of them. I came to school, and when they met me, they died. Ha! Die, die, die, die, die, die. Kill, die, you bloody. Die, you bloody meat. And I came to school, and I saw my brother there. Yes, my little brother Lafe. He was at school. I tried to kill him, but he escaped. But I killed him. Not now, not then, but I killed him at his house. He will die. Die! And they came; those who I killed before me, and they tried to kill me. But I killed them. Ha, ha, ha! And they will die...like them all -- all those who don't listen. They die 'coz Kevin has come to my school!

The scene with Kevin axing his brother in the back is shown.

Kevin - They got away. I shall destroy them. They escaped. They will learn.

Shanon walks down a hallway near the math rooms. He stops and has a drink at a water fountain. Then he continues walking down the hallway. Suddenly, Kevin jumps out and whacks a math textbook across Shanon's forehead, knocking him down. Shanon gets up and runs.

Kevin (himself) - Get him mommy. Get him.

Kevin/Mother - Don't worry Kevin little boy, I'll get him for you!

Kevin pursues Shanon down the hall. He whacks the book repeatedly over Shanon's head until he dies. Kevin walks away. The cover of the textbook is dripping with blood. Kevin ducks into a nearby door.

Kevin (himself) - They're cruel. I'm gonna hide, and get them when they don't expect me.

Kevin pulls out a school yearbook and, with a pencil, crosses out the pictures of everybody he has killed so far. (The picture of Lafe is already crossed out.)

First, he crosses out the picture of Brendan.

Kevin - Brendan died, because he was good at sports. I was bad at sports. Stupid jerk. He will die!

Kevin finds the picture of Rusty and scribbles over it with the pencil

Kevin - Rusty died, because he was good at cooking, so I forked him to death, like a piece of meat!

He violently went through the pages, until he found the picture of his latest victim, Shanon. He crossed it out.

Kevin - Shanon died, because he got top grades in math.

Kevin found Jim's photograph and defaced it.

Kevin - Jim the oaf died, because he never listened to me!

Kevin closes the yearbook and leaves.

Kevin searches around for the hallways, looking for victims, but the school is deserted. Kevin is having a strange conversation with his dead mother.

Kevin (sarcastic) - There are too many people around. I have to find somebody to kill. But where could they be? Where? Where?

He goes up the stairs.

Kevin - Where? Where? I must find somebody to kill. I need someone to kill, but I can't be caught.

He reaches the top of the stairs and turns into a hallway.

Kevin (childish) - Mommy, can I kill?

Kevin/Mother - Yes you may. You may kill.

Kevin - Thank you mommy. But where are they? I must find somebody to kill.

He looks up and down the stairs.

Kevin (himself) - Yes, I must. Where is somebody to kill? Where? Where did they go? Where? Where? Where? Where? Kevin looks around on the ground.

Kevin (himself) - I must also find a weapon to kill them with. Mommy, where is a weapon?

Kevin/Mother - The weapons are in our kitchen drawer. There is knives, and hatchets, and forks, and spoons!

Kevin (himself) - Yes mommy. I will come home. That's where I'll get a weapon. At home. Home. Yes. Mommy. That's where I'll get a weapon. At home. (E.T.) Home.

But first I must walk home.

Kevin goes up to a locker and tries a combination, but it doesn't work. He gets angry and tugs at it. Eventually he breaks the lock off with his hand.

Kevin (proud) - It opens! Mommy, I'm Superman! I can fly like an arrow. Whee!

Kevin takes off his plastic Skeleton Mask and throws it down into the bottom of the locker.

Kevin (disillusioned) - But where at home? Where is the weapon?

I'm not going home. No! I'm not going home. No. No. I'm staying here forever. Forever. Yes, I'm never leaving.

He puts his mask back onto his face and walks down the school hallway.

Kevin approaches a pop machine. An NBA basketball poster is on the wall. Kevin punches the picture.

Kevin - Those stupid jocks; that's who I'll kill first. I'll find a jock. They get good marks on their report cards. Mommy, why did you spank me, because I got an "F"?

Kevin turns to the pop machine and gives it a few swift kicks.

Kevin (exhausted) - I'm thirsty. Give me a drink. Water. Water. I'm in a desert. Lost in the desert. Water. Water. Water!

Kevin pants and chokes like an animal, and then leaves.

Kevin enters the boys' locker room, looking at the various lockers, as well as the showers and urinals.

Kevin (bitter) - Jocks are in here. This is where jocks will be. Yes. Jocks are in a place like this. The physed room. Yes. But where? Where are you jocks? Mommy, can I play baseball when I'm grown up? Mommy? Are you there? Mommy?

Kevin's mother doesn't answer him.

Kevin (evil, angered) - Mommy won't listen. Who cares about Mommy. Mommy doesn't care about little Kevin, she cares about her little son Lafe. But Lafey's dead now. Lafe. Yes. Lafey got his throat cut open. Yes. Lafe's gone. Lafey got a hammer and nail through his head.

The locker room is empty of anybody, so Kevin leaves. He looks down at the big boots on his feet.

Kevin (childish) - I'm a builder Mommy. Watch me hammer this nail into the board. Mommy, I'm a carpenter. Mommy?

(evil) - Who cares about Mommy!

Kevin approaches a water fountain.

Kevin (childish) - I'm thirsty. I think I'll have a drink. Where's the drink? Water. Mommy, how come camels don't have to drink?

Kevin plays a game of catch with the water fountain. He flicks the handle, lets go of it, and tries to quickly catch the water before it goes away.

Kevin - Mommy? Mommy? Where are you Mom?

(evil/bitter) - Mommy's gone. Mommy moved away.

(crying) - Mommy!

Kevin hears the voice of his dead brother Lafe in his head:

Lafe (from the past) - Nobody likes you Kevin. You're not popular. Ha, ha, ha. Kevin can't even ride his bike! Kevin's a retard! Kevin's a retard! Kevin's a retard. You can't play with us, Kevin. We don't want retards playing with us. Kevin's a loser. Take that, [SMACK] and that! [SMACK] And that! [SMACK] Whazza matter, Kevin? Can't you defend yourself. Kevin can't do his homework. Kevin's a big fat, ugly mongoloid. Ha! Jerk! Nobody likes you, Kevin.

Kevin cries and pounds the top of the water fountain in a fit of pain.

Kevin walks down a hallway past the drama room and the band room. He looks down at the floor and sees a metal fork lying there. He picks it up and examines it.

Kevin (evil) - I am Kevin. I am the teacher. I am the teacher -- afterschool! I will teach those people their lesson. They don't listen to Kevin. No... Nobody likes Kevin.

(childish) - Mommy, can I play ball with you?

(evil/snorting) - I will kill them! But where is people? Where is people!

Kevin looks over at the door leading to the gymnasium.

Kevin - That's where I'll go. I'll find a jock to kill. Kill those stupid athletes.

Kevin drops the fork out of his hand. He tries to open the gymnasium door, but it is now locked. He tries to open a door across the hall, but it is locked as well.

Kevin (scheming) - I will hide in a place I know very well.

Kevin opens up a double set of doors leading outside. It is dark outside. Across the field, he can see Sir John A. Macdonald, the school he killed at in the first two My School movies.

Kevin (reminiscing) - Mommy, can I go to school? My school. My very old school. That is where I first began killing.

Kevin goes outside into the darkness.

Morning. Kevin comes out of a garbage dumpster the very next morning, where he spent the night. He had used a shopping cart to move all his victim's bodies to the dumpster from the school. He had eaten them for breakfast. He pushed the bloodied shopping cart to it's place of hiding. It had been a most unpleasant night, because it had rained.

Jeff comes out of an the guidance counsellor's office.

Jeff (disgusted) - Counsellors, hah! Jobs, occupations, responsibilities. They don't know what they're talking about. They say I have to make a decision. Well they're wrong. I don't have to make a decision until I'm seventy years old; if I wanted to.

Jeff opens up his locker and gets his coat out. He sights a note attached to the inside of his locker. It is written in blood. He takes it down and reads it.

Jeff (spooked & reading) - What's this? HURTING, MAIMING, CRIPPLING, DESTROY; THESE ARE THE THINGS THAT I ENJOY.

He crumples up the note and tosses it on the ground.

Jeff (spooked) - Man, that's sick. Who writes things like that in people's lockers?

He looks at his binders.

Jeff (annoyed) - Oh sick! I forgot! Four pages of homework.

He takes a binder and textbook out and locks the locker.

He walks downstairs, to the lower level of the school.

Suddenly, he hears somebody's voice whispering: "You will Die!"

Jeff (scared) - What's that? Maybe it's that little kid that followed me a couple of days ago? He had these really strange big eyes! I don't know what he wanted. He just kept following me.

Jeff (lustful) - I like that girl I saw the other day. She had the nicest pair of fingernails.

Jeff goes out the northeast exit of the school.

Kevin is walking down the hallway. He runs right into a nerdy student named Conrad, who recognizes him.

Kevin (rudely) - Hi Conrad, how are you doing?

Conrad (scared) - You better keep away, Kevin. Nobody likes you.

Kevin (squeaky) - Nobody likes you either.

Conrad (mousey) - You better stay away, or I'm gonna get somebody.

Kevin starts advancing on Conrad. Conrad runs off in fear.

Kevin (psychotic) - Mommy. Mommy. Kill, Mommy. Kill, Mommy!

Kevin chases Conrad towards the art room.

Conrad (frightened) - Get away from me. Away! Back!

Kevin (unbalanced) - You can't stay away from Kevin. Yes. I am Kevin!

Kevin laughs and chases Conrad into the craft arts classroom of the school.

Conrad (mr. psychologist) - How 'bout that. The guy's gone schizoid now!

Kevin (radiant) - Don't criticize me. I have many things to say about you-- retard!

Conrad (insulted) - Oh gee, that's a nice thing to say.

Conrad runs and hides behind a table, but Kevin spots him and continues the chase. Conrad is exhausted as he runs up the stairwell.

Kevin (demented) - You will never get away. Kill, Mommy. He can't get away from Kevin. I'm a good boy.

Conrad (confident) - Here I go. Bye bye.

They continue the chase onto the main floor.

Kevin (squealing) - You're never gonna get away.

Conrad - Oh yeah, watch me try.

Kevin (threatening) - You will never get away. Nobody will help you now.

The hallways of the school are deserted. Everybody has gone home.

Conrad runs towards the police constable's office.

Conrad (decisive) - Well, I'm going down to the office, and maybe I can get Officer Michaluck down here.

Kevin (sarcastic) - Michaluck? The city policeman? He can't help you now.

Conrad bangs on the constable's door, but it is locked.

Kevin - See, nobody wants to help you!

Conrad (figuratively) - The office is open. I've still got five more minutes.

Conrad runs towards the main office. Kevin follows.

Kevin - I told them to leave.

Conrad runs into the office and approaches the reception desk. Nobody is around. He begins to get really worried.

Conrad - You did what?

Conrad runs out of the office and jogs towards the math rooms. Kevin chants repeatedly: "You will die!"

Conrad (to himself) - I'm going to the math area. Maybe there is some place that I can hide.

Conrad jogs into the math area.

Kevin - Nobody can hide from Kevin. Nobody. Ever.

Kevin enters the math area. Conrad has hidden somewhere, and he can't see him. He looks around.

Kevin - Nobody can hide from Kevin. Where is he? Where is he?

Kevin sees that Conrad has hidden himself underneath a school desk.

Kevin (hungry) - There he is!

Conrad gets out from under the desk and runs. He trips on the leg of a table. Kevin picks up a chair and prepares to bash it over Conrad's head.

Conrad (nervous) - Let me out of here.

Conrad quickly stands up and tries to reason with Kevin.

Conrad (scared) - Keep away from me.

Kevin (psycho) - You'll never get away. Never!

Conrad runs out of the math area. Kevin follows.

Kevin - I'm gonna get out of here this time. There's no way you can catch me.

Conrad runs up a flight of stairs towards the library.

Conrad - Keep away from me.

Kevin is breathing like a rabid animal. Conrad stopped at the double doors at the top of the stairs to catch his breath.

Kevin (slyly) - Open the door will you? Open the door. You will never get away from me.

Conrad ran through the doors and into the library.

In the library, Conrad hides between two sliding bookshelves..

Kevin - I will follow you everywhere-- everywhere! Into the library...

Conrad waited, hoping Kevin wouldn't find him. Kevin approached. He knew where Conrad was hiding.

Kevin (childish) - Mommy. Squish that bad bug! Squash that bug. He's a stupid insect; a retarded insect.

Kevin/Mother - Don't worry, Kevin little boy, I'll squish him for you!

Kevin pushed the bookshelf. It was on a sliding track. Conrad tried to escape, but he couldn't. He was squished in between the bookshelves. Conrad screamed in agony. There was a squishing sound. His bloody arm was hanging out from the shelves.

After squishing Conrad, Kevin went out of the library. His mother was talking to him.

Kevin/Mother (insistent) - Kevin!

Kevin (himself) - Mommy! Are you there?

He approached a water fountain near the stairwell.

Kevin (innocent) - Mommy, can I have a drink?

Kevin/Mother (angry) - No!

Kevin (scared) - Mommy? Mommy?

Kevin/Mother - You are bad, Kevin. You have killed many people. You must now kill yourself.

Kevin (obeying) - I'm gonna kill myself, Mommy!

Kevin walks through a door to the top of the stairwell. He looks over the railing. It is a long drop down.

Kevin (mesmerized) - Fall! Yes Fall! I'm gonna kill myself.

Kevin climbs up on the railing.

Kevin - I'm gonna jump. Here I go!

Kevin leaps off the railing. He smacks on the hard steps, and rolls down until he comes to a dead stop. Kevin's body lies there -- DEAD.

Suddenly, he vanishes.
