Dr. Fallow is a normal looking, middle-aged man. It is summer, and he is spraying his vegetable garden with the garden hose. He stops spraying and inspects his crops. The plants are unhealthy looking. Shots of flowers watching him. Music playing is "Red Roses for a Blue Lady".

Dr. Fallow (proudly) - My beautiful plants. How I have cared for you all summer long, and yet you do not respond to my nurturing.

He rubs a dried out brown leaf between his fingers.

Dr. Fallow (solemnly) - Fertilizer...Hydrogen hydroxide...Luminescence... Everything the chloroplasts need, yet still...

He scrapes at the dirt in the garden.

Dr. Fallow - ...the very Earth seems to reject you. Why? Is there Evil in the soil?

Suddenly, something beneath the ground grabs at Dr. Fallow's hand and slowly pulls it into the ground, despite his struggles. Dr. Fallow screams and hollers in fear. Soon, his arm up to his shoulder has been pulled beneath the ground. Confusion replaces fear on his face.

Dr. Fallow (wondering) - What...what is down there?

He tugs at whatever is below the surface. He strains and heaves, and eventually brings up a small chest, covered with old soil. His hand is covered with green pus. Dr. Fallow inspects it. A POV shot from beneath the ground, looking up the tunnel made by Dr. Fallow's arm to see him on the surface.

Dr. Fallow (shouting) - Adrian! Adrian, come here!

The Voice (comes from hole) - DO NOT CALL YOUR FAMILY, DR. FALLOW!

Dr. Fallow drops the chest in surprise. It breaks open and a rolled up scroll falls out, aged and worn.

Dr. Fallow (frightened) - What...what are you?

The Voice - I AM THE VOICE. YOU WILL OBEY ME. READ THE SCROLL. UNDERSTAND ITS MEANING!

Dr. Fallow kicks the chest and grabs the scroll. He is about to rip it in two when suddenly the garden hose springs to life and wraps itself around his neck. It pulls him to the ground and drags him across the grass and dirt to the hole. He stares down the hole.

The Voice (angry) - DO NOT DESECRATE MY WORDS. READ THEM! UNDERSTAND THEM! OBEY THEM!

A sudden bolt of green energy blows out of the hole and envelopes Dr. Fallow's face. He screams in agony.

The ray ceases, and Fallow, dazed and bleeding from his nose, unwraps the hose from his neck. He gets up and grabs the shovel nearby. He begins to try bury the hole, but the dirt flies back out.

Suddenly, the shovel is ripped from his hands by an invisible force and turns on him and lops off Fallow's right hand. He screams and gazes at his stump, as blood fountains out of the wound. Then, the shovel bonks him in the head, knocking him to the ground, unconscious. The green energy comes from the hole and envelopes his whole body. He twitches. A slow pan up from his feet to his face.

The Voice - OBEY ME, DOCTOR. YOU ARE MY SLAVE.

Suddenly, Dr. Fallow's eyes open. They are a solid green colour.

Dr. Fallow (Voice's voice) - I...UNDERSTAND...YOUR INSTRUCTIONS...

A vase with pretty flowers is on a table. Background music is "Never Promised You A Rose Garden". Dr. Fallow's good hand reaches into frame and caresses the flowers. Reverse angle to show Dr. Fallow noticing for the first time his stump. He scowls in confusion, then calls to someone not seen.

Dr. Fallow - Adrian! Can you lend me a hand?

The Voice echoes inside his skull.

The Voice - YOUR FAMILY CANNOT HEAR YOU. YOU SPEAK ONLY WHEN I GIVE YOU VOICE. I SHALL REPAIR YOUR APPENDAGE.

On the kitchen table, a metallic hand materializes.

The Voice - PLACE THE BIOMORPHIC LIMB ENHANCER ON YOUR WRIST. I SHALL MELD IT INTO YOUR NERVE IMPULSE UNITS.

Dr. Fallow (whining) - But why don't you just give me a new hand? This thing's rather conspicuous!

The Voice - WHEN A TREE LOSES A BRANCH, IT IS NOT SO EASILY REPLACED. NEITHER SHALL BE YOUR LOSS. BUT IT SHALL PROVE TO BE AN EXCELLENT TOOL FOR YOUR NEW PURPOSE.

Dr. Fallow - Yes, Master. What is my first task?

The Voice - YOU MUST STERILIZE YOUR MANSION OF ITS INFESTATION. USE WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY. I WILL INSTRUCT YOU FURTHER ONCE YOUR FAMILY HAS BEEN HARVESTED.

Dr. Fallow smiles evilly. He looks down at his hands. The metallic one has been installed. His other holds a knife.

Mother Fallow watches "The Seeds of Doom". She shuts off the TV and goes to the kitchen. She pours herself a glass of juice. She sets the glass down beside some carrots. She notices the knife supposedly there is now gone.

Mother Fallow (confused) - Where'd that knife go now?

As if in answer, we see a shadow on the wall of Dr Fallow, the knife ready to stab, advancing.

Mother Fallow (shrugs) - Oh well.

Mother Fallow takes the carrots and juice to the table. As she leaves, we see in the background Dr Fallow stalking her from behind. Mother Fallow bites a carrot. Dr Fallow is closer and about to strike. Mother Fallow rips into the carrot with his teeth, and Dr Fallow screams in sudden pain and drops the knife. Mother Fallow whirls around.

Dr Fallow (in pain) - Don't kill it...You will destroy me...

Mother Fallow (sees hand) - Kiddo, your hand...!

She eats more carrot. Dr Fallow screams again. He pukes up huge quantities of mushed-up carrot. He recomposes himself and glares at his mother.

Dr Fallow (nastier) - Release...the hostages...!

Mother Fallow (smiles) - Ahhh, Kiddo, you always were a bit strange!

Mother Fallow sips from the glass of juice. Dr Fallow opens his mouth and sprays blood all over the place. Mother Fallow puts the juice down on the table, and helps her son.

Mother Fallow (worried) - Kiddo, let me get you to hospital!

Dr Fallow grabs her throat with his metallic hand and squeezes viciously.

Dr Fallow (sadistic) - No, Momma, let me put you under the ground, where my new family lives!

Dr Fallow continues to squeeze. Mother Fallow gasps for air. In desperation, she grabs at the unchewed carrot on the table. Struggling, she stabs it into Dr Fallow's left eye. The carrot is halfway into Dr Fallow's eye, and his face is all bloodied. Then, Dr Fallow snaps his hand up violently and snaps Mother Fallow's spinal cord. Mother Fallow collapses. Dr Fallow allows the body to slump onto a kitchen chair and sprawl on the table, lifeless.

Dr Fallow (morbidly) - Freshly squeezed, and pulp free!

Then, he stumbles to a mirror to survey his condition and weeps.

Dr Fallow (sobbing) - Carrots are supposed to help your eyesight, not hinder it!\

The Voice (unconcerned) - REMOVE YOUR COUSIN FROM YOUR MALFUNCTIONING SIGHT REGISTER.

Dr Fallow slowly removes the carrot from his eye. It makes a squishy sickening sound. He lets it and some eye fluid drop into the sink.

Dr Fallow - Master...I am losing so many...

The Voice (interrupting) - SILENCE! IMAGINE THE POPLAR TREE IN THE AUTUMN. CONCEIVE IF YOU CAN THE MIGHTY REDWOOD CONFRONTED BY A SAW. DO NOT DARE TELL ME OF YOUR PITIFUL AND INSIGNIFICANT PROBLEMS!

On the sink counter, an eyepatch materializes. Dr Fallow puts it on. Camera zooms in on the black patch--

--Zoom out from Adrian's chest. He is pushing a lawnmower onto the front lawn. He grabs the tugger to start it. It does not start.

We see a dark shape watching Adrian from behind the curtains on the front window. It moves away. Again Adrian tugs on the chord to start the lawnmower. Again it does not start. A shot of a hand pulling the front door shut, then leaving the frame. A POV hand-held shot advances on Adrian.

Adrian pulls the starter once more, and this time the lawnmower starts, just as Dr Fallow was about to stab Adrian. As Adrian pushes the lawnmower down the lawn (do a shot with camera on grass and have the lawnmower go "overtop" of it. Overdub Fallow's scream), Dr Fallow clutches his ears and begins to scream. His knife drops to the lawn and sticks in upright.

The Voice (angrily) - CLOSE YOUR MIND TO THE PAIN. DESTROY THE ASSASSIN!

Dr Fallow composes himself and marches after Adrian. Adrian wheels the lawnmower around and pushes it back towards where he started it up. DR FALLOW IS NOT IN SIGHT. Hand-held POV follows Adrian as he pushes the mower. Adrian turns around again, and is clubbed in the head by Dr Fallow's metal hand.

As Adrian lies blubbering on the lawn, Dr Fallow grabs the lawnmower and slowly drives it overtop of Adrian. Adrian is all mangled, and this jams up the mower. It stalls. Adrian's arms do the funky chicken, then stop.

The Voice - YOU ARE PERFORMING WELL, MY SLAVE. CONTINUE WITH YOUR MISSION.

Dr Fallow grabs Adrian's carcass and drags him off.

Start shot on a bloodied hand hanging out of the tub, then pan to see Dr. Fallow staring into the mirror. A tear drips from his eye.

Dr. Fallow (sobbing) - My family...I've...

The Voice (menacing) - CULTIVATED THEM. LIKE WHEAT! YOU ENJOY AGRICULTURE...NOW I GRANT YOU A GREEN THUMB!

Dr. Fallow squints in confusion, then looks down at his flesh hand.

HIS THUMB HAS TURNED GREEN! He grabs a scrub brush with his metallic hand and tries to scrub off the colouring. He is unsuccessful. Dr. Fallow raises his head to glare at the ceiling.

Dr. Fallow (angry) - You are systematically destroying me! You're turning me into a freak!

The Voice (monstrous) - JUST AS YOUR KIND DOES TO NATURE! USING YOUR MACHINES TO CHANGE AND SCAR THE LAND! DESTROYING. RAVAGING. DON'T BE SUCH A HYPOCRITE, MY DEAR FALLOW.

Dr. Fallow (hysterical) - I'm sorry. Please, let me make it up to you.

The Voice (booming) - YOU SHALL. YOU HAVE READ MY SCROLL. YOU UNDERSTAND MY MISSION. OBEY IT. IMPLEMENT STEP THREE.

Dr. Fallow looks into the mirror and, smiling insanely, turns to look into the camera.

Bradley has a beautiful flower in his hand. He sits sadly. Dr. Fallow spies on him. He holds a high-powered rifle in his hands. He slowly stalks Bradley. Bradley gazes at the flower, then begins to pull off petals.

Bradley (serenely) - She loves me...she loves me not...

As Bradley removes the petals, Dr Fallow jerks and stumbles in sync with the destruction of the flower. Dr Fallow strains, then composes himself. He marches up to Bradley--who does not see Fallow--and grabs the flower with his metallic hand. Bradley is confused.

Dr Fallow caresses the flower, and slowly places it on the ground with reverence. He glares at Bradley, aiming the rifle at him.

Dr Fallow - You have purposely tortured this poor flower. Let's see how you like it!

Dr Fallow fires the rifle. Bradley's entire left arm is blown off.

Dr Fallow - He loves it...

Dr Fallow fires another shot. Bradley's other arm is blown off at the shoulder.

Dr Fallow - He loves it not...

Dr Fallow fires once more, blasting Bradley to the ground. Bradley gurgles some blood and dies.

Dr. Fallow finishes washing his hands. He shakes off the water with tense frustration.

The Voice - YOUR PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN QUITE ACCEPTABLE. LET ME REWARD YOUR EFFORTS.

Dr. Fallow's neck begins to sprout cabbage leaves. From out of his shirt sleeves, cabbage leaves also appear.

Dr. Fallow (horrified) - You're turning me into a plant!

Dr. Fallow tries to pull the leaves out, but they are stuck.

The Voice (proud) - I DUB THEE SIR HERBERT FALLOW, AMBASSADOR TO THE GREEN KINGDOM.

Dr. Fallow (in tears) - Please, call me Herb...

The Voice (tense) - YOU SHOULD BE PROUD TO HAVE BEEN PART OF THIS METAMORPHOSIS.

Dr. Fallow (in rage) - But I'm not a vegetable, I'm a human being!

The Voice (thundering) - NO LONGER! YOU ARE MY TOOL OF DEATH!

Dr. Fallow (defiantly) - No! No more! I will not kill any more people!

The Voice (angrily) - THE HARVEST IS INCOMPLETE. YOU WILL CULTIVATE MORE BODIES AND FEED ME!

Dr. Fallow - I shan't! I no longer have the will.

The Voice (menacing) - YOU HAVE READ THE SCROLL! YOU HAVE SEEN THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION. I CANNOT ALLOW YOU TO TERMINATE YOUR OBEDIENCE OF MY COMMANDS.

Dr. Fallow (resigned) - Then I will be the next to perish.

Dr. Fallow stands impassively with his hands behind his back. The hole in the garden glows green. A flower materializes on the grass and quickly evolves into a humanoid Flower Person. It wears green clothes and has fake petals attached to its head.

The Voice (deep and angry) - FALLOW, YOU ARE A TRAITOR TO THE TRUE CAUSE. YOUR EXECUTION MAY COMMENCE.

The Flower Person advances, its stem-like arms stretched out to grasp Dr. Fallow. Suddenly, Dr. Fallow reveals what he was holding behind his back: a bar of Killex. The Flower Person keeps coming. Flower Person 1 grabs at Dr. Fallow, but Dr. Fallow punches it in the face. A splat of green chlorophyllic pus. Flower Person 1 punches Fallow, sending him and the Killex flying.

As Fallow gets up, he looks in terror as Flower Person 1 comes charging at him with a shovel. Fallow wrestles the shovel out of the Flower Person's grasp and pushes him to the ground. He pulls a knife out of his back pocket throws it right into the Flower Person's hand, holding him fast.

Fallow raises the shovel above his head and drives it down into the Flower Person's stomach. Muck squirts out. The Flower Person coughs up chunky green puke and dissolves back into a flower.

Dr. Fallow (smug) - You'll have to do better than that!

Dr. Fallow goes to his fridge and gets something. We don't know what. A shot of his hand grabbing a fork.

He steps outside and stands in front of the hole containing the Voice. Dr. Fallow begins to eat a green salad! As he chomps on the lettuce, the Voice screams, and dekalitres of green foamy bile explode out of the hole like a volcanic eruption.

Dr. Fallow pats his tummy, done with his meal, and gazes benignly at the dead hole. He belches.

Dr. Fallow (thoughtfully) - Now where's that chest and scroll?

Dr. Fallow looks east and west, and spies it. He walks over to it. The camera is the chest's POV. Dr. Fallow turns to camera and grabs at it. Reverse (POV) shot of him pulling the chest up to his face (camera). The chest blacks out screen. Invisible edit to first shot of Scene 9...

Inside a school bus. This is where Carl Jr. lives.

...Start with Teddy on camera. Two hands pull Eugene away from camera. They are Carl Jr's.

Carl Jr. (empathic) - Oh, Teddy, you've had another one of your nightmares, haven't you?

Teddy (sobbing) - They get worse all the time, because they're based on truth!

Carl Jr. - It was Dr. Fallow again, wasn't it? Why do you still fear him?

Teddy - I'm not sure it's him I fear...

Carl Jr. (aghast) - You fear that strange Voice, don't you?

Teddy - It's seeking me, Carl Jr. It wishes to devour me too. That is why you must kill for me. Kevin no longer will.

Carl Jr. (venomously) - I've been training for ten years. Then I suggest that Kevin would now be put to death...

MY SCHOOL X
THE FINAL HORROR

Kevin's house. It is looking worse for wear. Creepy and neglected.

Armed guards surround the house. CAPTION READS APRIL 1, 2005.

Camera pans around the room, then stops on Kevin. Kevin is totally wrapped in gauze bandages, like a mummy. Someone's arm reaches into frame and places a formal envelope on a small table next to Kevin. Kevin does not notice. Reverse angle shows no one there! Kevin notices the envelope and opens it. It reads:

KEVIN. YOUR MOTHER WOULD SPEAK TO YOU. VIP.

Kevin - I haven't seen my mother since I killed her. What could she want now?

A human skull materialises nearby.

The Skull - Kevin Markson. Your life is nearly at an end. Will you cleanse your sinful conscience? Will you share your dark secrets?

Kevin (depressed) - I must come clean.

Inside the school bus.

Carl Jr. paces up and down the bus aisle. He froths from his mouth.

Carl Jr. (hysterical) - Tell me where Kevin is! I would slaughter him for his mistreatment of you! And to avenge the deaths of my parents and grandfather!

There are quick flashes of his parents (Carol and Carl) and his grandfather (Dickson).

Eugene tries to concentrate his mental focus, but fails.

Eugene (upset) - I cannot scan for Kevin. His presence is being shielded from my detection. You must interrogate the students at Ian Briggs High to discover his whereabouts.

Someone bangs on the side of the bus. Carl Jr. looks out the window.

A cop is waiting outside. Carl Jr. opens the door to speak with him.

Carl Jr. (irritated) - What?

P.C. Fishfinger (imperious) - I have received word that someone has been seen trespassing within this vehicle. Would that be you, sir?

Carl Jr. (incensed) - I live here! BLEEP off!

P.C. Fishfinger - Would you step outside please, sir?

Carl Jr, holding Eugene, steps out. Unknown to Fishfinger, Carl Jr. is also holding a dagger. CU of Carl Jr's hand squeezing handle.

P.C. Fishfinger (arrogant) - Right, let's see some I.D.

Carl Jr. (nasty) - I'd rather see some blood.

Carl Jr. takes the dagger and protrudes it through P.C. Fishfinger's skull. P.C. Fishfinger bleeds profusely and collapses. Carl Jr. kicks the corpse repeatedly, then runs away in exhilarated panic.

Start CU of the Skull. Zoom out to show Kevin inspecting it.

The Skull (curious) - Tell me why you are imprisoned within your own house, surrounded by hordes of armed guards?

Kevin (reminiscently) - 'Tis for my own protection. This house shields my thoughts from the Doom Bear. I am safe from him so long as I remain inside. He will want revenge on me. I have denounced him.

The Skull - I suspect that the police have an interest in keeping you alive, now that you are an agent of Good.

Kevin (shrugs shoulders) - They help me. I help them. I have faith in the police; I am an honest citizen.

The Skull (accusingly) - But there was a time when you didn't feel so warm towards them.

Kevin (remembering) - They were dark times...The police were my enemies then. They were responsible for my father's death. When I was evil, I felt joy whenever I killed a cop.

(Flashbacks of all the policeman Kevin has killed in previous nine films.)

The Skull - And then there was Virgil, your personal slave back in 1985. He too killed police. I'm surprised that the cops have forgiven you both.

Kevin (glares at Skull) - What do you know of Virgil?

Carl Jr. runs past the famous garbage can.

Eugene (commanding) - Stop! We shall live here!

Carl Jr. (smiles) - It looks like a suitable site to plot our revenge.

They climb inside. Carl Jr. spies a milk carton and drinks from it. Large chunks of sour milk spill all over his face. He belches.

Carl Jr. (excited) - There is ample nourishment in this place. What is your first command, oh my master?

Eugene (evilly) - It's time to go to school. My school!

The Skull - I know a great deal about Virgil. I know a great deal about everyone and everything since I died.

Kevin - So you know that I controlled Virgil. And that he killed himself nearly 20 years ago, but not before slaughtering most of his neighbourhood.

(use the jogger killing as a video overdub)

The Skull remains silent.

Kevin (tentatively) - Are you really...my mother...?

The Skull - You did terrible things in your past. One man's good is another man's evil. Unfortunately, for some, the reverse  holds true. I will let your conscience decide the result of your deeds.

Kevin (solemnly) - Then why are you here...?

Two students, holding hands, walk from the front doors past some shrubbery. As they pass by, we see that Carl Jr is hidden in the shrubbery, watching. He looks down at his hands. He holds a water gun and a beaker of acid. Geddy tosses away a large brown lunchbag. Carl Jr catches it. He empties the contents and prepares to do something with the bag.

Teddy (heard, not seen) - Interrogate them!

Geddy and Debbie round a corner and are in an obscured part of the school, with three walls; a sort of cul-de-sac. They head inside it for some hootchy-kootchy.

Geddy (horny) - No one'll see us back here. Is your cafeteria open for business?

Debbie (giggly, teasingly) - It sure is. You ready for a fresh slice of pie?

They head to a corner. Carl Jr steps from the shadows. He wears the lunch bag as a mask. He points the water gun at them.

Carl Jr (threateningly) - Where is Kevin Markson?

Geddy (pissed off) - What the...? Hey, buddy, can't you wait for Halloween? Or at least until I'm through?

Carl Jr (impassively) - Satisfy my question.

Geddy (grabs crotch) - Hey, pal, satisfy this!

Carl Jr approaches them.

Carl Jr (weirdly) - Do not fold, bend, or mutilate...

Debbie backs away, but Geddy stands firm. He pulls out some school scissors to thwart Carl Jr, who, fast as lightning, grabs Geddy's hand and pulls it off. Blood fountains from his stump. Carl Jr tosses the scissors away and fires the water gun at Geddy's face. His skin begins disintegrating as he falls in agony to the ground. Debbie screams hysterically.

Carl Jr grabs the scissors from the dismembered hand and advances on Debbie. She kicks the scissors from his hand. She plants her foot into Carl Jr's crotch. He feels nothing. He grabs Debbie by the throat with one hand, then makes a fist with the other and swings it into the back of her head. A great green blob of snot flies at the camera. Debbie falls to the ground, whimpering.

Debbie looks up to see Carl Jr standing over her with the beaker of acid. He sits on her and prepares to pour the acid on her.

Carl Jr (threateningly) - Where is Kevin Markson hiding?

Debbie (scared) - Wh-wh-who...?

Carl Jr (sharp and loud) - KEVIN MARKSON!!

Debbie (frightened) - I heard the police hid him somewhere. He made a deal with the cops, and now they're protecting him.

Carl Jr (unsatisfied) - Where?

Debbie (totally freaking) - I can't say!

Carl Jr - Maybe this will loosen your tongue!

Carl Jr forces the beaker of acid into Debbie's mouth. He pours the deadly acid down her throat.

Carl Jr (disgustingly) - Swallow this, bitch.

The acid causes tremendous amounts of blood and goop to emanate from her throat. Debbie dies. Carl Jr gets up off her. He looks down at the corpses.

Carl Jr (eulogises) - Sex is never safe with Carl Jr around.

Voice of Teddy - You must return home lest you be spotted and suspected.

Carl Jr - Yes, Teddy.

Carl Jr runs away.

The Skull (quietly) - I am a messenger of death. I have come to prepare you for your imminent demise.

Kevin - And to do so, your function is to provoke a denial of my past.

The Skull (sadly) - If not me, then someone else.

- A flash of Carl Jr's murders -

The Skull (commandingly) - The killings at Ian Briggs High have begun anew. You must make peace with those dead who deny their mortality.

Kevin - The Doom Bear has begun his hunt for me. Will I be safe from his evil?

The Skull (as it vanishes) - Faith will protect you. Even in the company of death...

Kevin turns to look at a dark, far corner. A shadowy shape retreats into the darkness.

Carl Jr. returns to the garbage can. He runs through the metal wall and ends up inside, skidding to a stop.

Carl Jr. (bitter) - They told me nothing of interest.

Teddy is floating in the air in the corner.

Teddy - You will find your information soon. I have contingency plans should you fail by verbal means. Are you famished?

Carl Jr. (pats tummy) - I am.

Teddy (mysteriously) - Then prepare...

In the alley, Alex is approaching the refuse bin, holding a large metal garbage can full of trash. We are led to believe it is the trash that Carl Jr. wants for dinner... Alex gets nearer and is by the bin's side, ready to toss in the trash. Suddenly, Carl Jr, wearing the clown mask, reaches up and grabs Alex--kicking and screaming--into the bin. The last we see of Alex is his kicking feet as they disappear into the bin. His screaming suddenly stops.

The Skull materialises in the air, looking overtop the corpses of Geddy and Debbie.

The Skull - Eugene's slave is preparing for his revenge. I must send them to St. Peter for Judgement.

The Skull radiates power from itself. Down below, we see the ghostly images of Geddy and Debbie sitting up from their corpses, getting to their feet, then holding hands and walking towards the camera. When they get to ECU, they fade from view. We see just the corpses again.

Parking Ticket Guy finishes putting a ticket on a car. He turns away, walks down the alley, making notes. He approaches the school bus, when he sees P.C. Fishfinger's dead body, covered with flies. He cringes and vomits, and hurries off.

Next shot, he approaches a pay phone booth. Inserts a quarter and dials.

Parking Ticket Guy (panic) - I need to report a death...

The Skull materialises next to Kevin.

The Skull - Prepare for an incoming call.

A wallscreen vidphone activates. Kevin goes over to the wallscreen.

Police Chief (on vidphone) - Kevin, we need your help. There has been a rash of killings around Ian Briggs High. We need your insight.

Kevin turns to the Skull. Do The Five Doctors mental communication thing between them. Kevin turns back to the vidphone.

Kevin (solemnly) - It was Carl Dixon Jr. Arrest him before he kills anymore poor souls.

Police Chief - I'll send a squad of men to apprehend him. We got a tip earlier where he might be hiding.

Kevin (concerned) - Chief, I would advise you to send a unit of special tactics androids. You can't afford to lose honest men with families. Carl Jr. is...vicious...

Police Chief - Thank you, Kevin.

The video image on the wallscreen shuts off.

Kevin (to himself) - No, Chief, thank you.

Carl Jr. finishes off the meat from a bone. There is a large pile of bones on top of the bloodied clothing worn by Alex. Teddy is still hovering in the air in the corner, overlooking Alex's garbage bag.

Teddy - You enjoyed your meal. It will give you strength. Now you will enjoy some dessert. Separate from the trash all the vegetable scraps.

Carl Jr. (confused) - I'm confused, oh my beloved master.

Teddy - My contingency plan. I think I have found a means towards locating that traitorous Kevin Markson...

Kevin is reading a book (either the Bible, or "Ethics and the Modern Man", etc). He puts it down and looks over to the Skull.

Kevin (saddened) - Many people are dying because of me, and I haven't even lifted a finger.

The Skull - You cannot leave this house. You have lived here alone for the past ten years. You will die here alone in a matter of hours.

Kevin (simply) - I'm not afraid of dying if it brings peace and goodness to the world. One isn't good by avoiding evil; one is good by destroying it.

The Skull - And that's the problem. No one can quite decide who are the good guys, and who are the bad guys.

Kevin lifts his book and begins to read some more.

A large pile of vegetable scraps, skins, peels, etcetera, is built in the middle of the bin. Carl Jr. and Teddy face each other from opposite sides of the pile of vegetable scraps. Carl Jr's eyes are closed shut, and his hands rest on the vegetable scraps. Closeups back and forth between Carl Jr, Teddy, and the vegetable scraps. The cutting grows rapidly faster just like during the mind battle in The Five Doctors. Carl Jr. begins speaking as if possessed.

Still cutting back and forth, this rapid cutting dissolves into a shot of Kevin's father standing in Kevin's back yard. Carl Jr. does a voiceover...

Carl Jr. (possessed) - It is August 1981. Mr Markson, Kevin's father, stands alone in his yard...

Mr. Markson stands alone in his back yard. He is surrounded by cops --including PC's Dixon and Walrustitty--all with guns aimed at him.

Voice of Carl Jr. - Mr. Markson has been located by City Police. He was the suspect in the killings at the grocery store where he was employed. It was said that Mr. Markson grew so fond of the vegetables he sold, that he appreciated them more than his human co-workers. He was dubbed the Green Killer.

P.C. Walrustitty (shouting) - Markson, we have you surrounded!

Mr. Markson pulls a pistol from behind his back and fires it at P.C. Snotsniffer. Dead aim to the forehead. P.C. Dixon fires off several rounds, all of them hitting Mr. Markson. One shot blows several fingers off his gun hand, sending the digits and the weapon to the ground. Mr. Markson sprints off. Dixon and Walrustitty pursue.

Voice of Carl Jr. - Markson ran to a local environmental activist's home. No one in Herbert Fallow's household knew that Markson had evaded his pursuers and collapsed in the most fertile soil in the neighbourhood. His body dissolved into the ground, where it rotted. But with the addition of Fallow's chemicals into the soil, Mr. Markson was reborn as a Voice of the Plant Kingdom. He controlled Fallow. Fallow failed him. So now he seeks someone new...

Carl Jr's eyes shoot open. He pulls his hands from the vegetable pile. He glares at Teddy.

Carl Jr. (nasty,suspicious) - Those nightmares you've had have been signals from Kevin's father! He wants to help us to kill his own son!

Teddy (nervous) - Yes. We need Mr. Markson's help in finding Kevin. But I'm scared of his power, Carl Jr!

Carl Jr. (reassuringly) - We are strong, Teddy. Have no fear.

ACT II: SERPENTS SERIATUM

SCENE 26 - EXT - IAN BRIGGS HIGH, CUL-DE-SAC

Principal Newman comes walking outside, holding a briefcase, and fumbling for a cigarette. He walks past some schoolkids.

Schoolkids (together) - Good afternoon, Principal Newman.

Principal Newman shoos them off with a wave of his hand. He strolls around the corner and walks into the cul-de-sac. He does not notice the bodies. He urinates on the wall, then, wrenching up his zipper, he sights the corpses of Geddy and Debbie.

Principal Newman (excited) - This is the work of Kevin Markson! But he's been held in confinement for ten years! Only he can verify if the Doom Bear has seduced a new slave.

Principal Newman hurries over to the teacher parking lot and gets in his car. Tires squealing, he zooms off.

(Use Curse of Fenric track 23)

Teddy (urgently) - The neighbourhood has been evacuated! I feel something is happening...

Suddenly, in the alley, a portal from the vortex opens, and the ten MSX androids appear in the alley, one by one. Carl Jr. grabs Teddy and begins to crawl out of the garbage can. He stops and ducks down.

The ten MSX androids are scouring the alley and approaching the garbage can.

Carl Jr. (whispers) - The cops have sent their MSX androids after us!

Teddy - Ten of them against the two of us. The odds are in our favour! Kill them!

Carl Jr. places Teddy down and carefully dissolves through the back of the garbage can. There, there is an axe, a gun, some other heavy metal tools. Carl Jr. grabs some and hides behind a car.

MSX-1 comes searching nearby. It is alone. It stops. A pair of rabbit ear antennae extend from its head. It receives no signal, and the antennae descend. It approaches Carl Jr. Carl Jr. buries the axe into MSX-1's skull. A whole bunch of electrical noise, and MSX-1 explodes into flames (overdub some fire). Carl Jr. grabs its gun.

Carl Jr. crouches around front of the car and fires two laser bursts from MSX-1's gun. MSX-2 and MSX-3 are hit and disintegrate. Carl Jr. retreats behind the car, and is grabbed by MSX-4. It takes the gun and crushes it in its hands. Carl Jr. gives it a karate kick.

MSX-4 goes flying against a cement wall. Its POV, with data screen over picture, shows Carl Jr. throwing a spike at it. The spike impales the cyborg and kills it.

Suddenly, Carl Jr. is grabbed from behind by MSX-5. Carl Jr. struggles to escape its grip. MSX-5 punches Carl Jr, but its fist goes right through him a la Terminator 2! MSX-5 throws Carl Jr. to the ground. Carl Jr. gets up and runs right through MSX-5. MSX-5 is disoriented and falls to the ground. Sound of a car starting. MSX-5 gets up and looks about. Carl Jr. is nowhere.

Abruptly, a car is driven right at the camera. It hits MSX-5. MSX-5 sticks to the grill. Carl Jr. drives the car right into a cement wall (use reverse action: drive away from wall). Big crunch of metal sound. MSX-5 is squished. Carl Jr. jumps out of car and it explodes. (stock footage/overdub).

MSX-6 sees Carl Jr. and chases him. Carl Jr. runs to the school bus. He rounds a corner. MSX-6 runs up to the bus and around the corner. Carl Jr. is gone. MSX-6 looks around. Carl Jr. is on top of the bus. He looks down on MSX-6. Carl Jr. is holding a giant boulder. MSX-6 hears a sound and looks up. Carl Jr. jumps down (on camera) and crushes MSX-6 with the boulder. Carl Jr. runs off.

MSX-7 sees Carl Jr. running down the alley and pursues him. It fires a shot from its laser gun, which just misses Carl Jr. Laser bolt hits a hockey net. It disintegrates. Carl Jr. grabs a hockey stick and slap shoots a puck at MSX-7. The puck goes right through MSX-7, destroying it.

Then, a gun is rammed into Carl Jr's back. He whirls around and headbutts MSX-8. MSX-8 staggers into a nearby car. There are jumper cables dangling from it. Carl Jr. jams his fingers into MSX-8's eyes. POV shot showing visual power failure. Carl Jr. attaches the jumper cable claw onto MSX-8's gun. The energy surges through it and MSX-8 explodes.

MSX-9 sees Teddy crawling inside a garbage can, so he follows him inside. MSX-9's internal monitor reads TARGET SEARCH...TARGET MATCH: DOOM BEAR (flashing on and off). Once inside, there is a teleport sound effect, and Teddy appears outside the garbage can, on top of the other lid, which is closed. MSX-9 readies his gun to destroy Eugene. The lid of the garbage can which the android is peeking out of slams shut, decapitating MSX-9. Carl Jr. slammed the lid down from behind. Carl Jr. kicks the head away like a soccer ball.

Carl Jr. grabs Teddy and begins to kiss him gently.

Carl Jr. (worried) - Oh, wonderful, beautiful Teddy, art thou alright?

Teddy (panic) - Carl Jr, behind you!

Carl Jr. whirls around and drives his fist into MSX-10. His fist goes right through MSX-10's body, destroying it. Carl Jr's hand holds onto electrical circuits and synthetic organs.

Teddy - We must go to Dr. Fallow's garden forthwith!

Throwing the parts aside, Carl Jr. scampers down the alley.

Principal Newman is searching through papers on a desk. He is growing frustrated as he tosses pages all over.

Principal Newman (tense) - For fifteen years I've been writing his story! FIFTEEN YEARS! And to lose all that work. Biggles and Skorman would never forgive me...

Principal Newman continues, flustered. Then, he spies a folder.

Principal Newman (demented) - The life and times of Kevin Markson. His biography. His final horror. And thanks to the deaths of Geddy and Debbie, I can interview him in person! Or perhaps...break him out!

Grabbing his manuscript, he dashes out of the room.

The Skull - I must be going, Kevin. Expect a visitor shortly.

The Skull vanishes.

Kevin (panicked) - No, don't leave me!

Kevin looks about, alone and afraid. Then he walks into the kitchen.

Kevin (shouts to sky) - I'm hungry!

In front of a blender, a care package of food materialises with a transporter effect/sound. He takes some carrots out and places them in the blender. A shot of a syringe withdrawing drugs. Kevin turns on the blender. The Voice growls in rage; its hole's glow pulses with rage. Kevin stops blending. The syringe stabs into his head.

Kevin, groggy, stumbles into the living room, gripping his head. POV shot blurry. He clambers into his sleeping bag. He falls into a dreamland.

The newspaper box is shown from the ending of My School 9, with Kevin's arrest on the cover.

Kevin appears in the front of John G. Diefenbaker School. The Police Grab him and arrest him.

Police Officer - "We got an anonymous tip from a school principal, who said you'd appear here at this time."

Kevin is brought before a Judge. The Clerk has Kevin put his hand on a Bible. It sizzles. Kevin retracts his hand from the book in pain.

Clerk (business-like) - State your name.

Kevin (the usual) - I am Kevin!

Dissolve to the conclusion of the trial, where the Judge is handing down Kevin's sentence.

Judge (stern) - Kevin Markson, I find you guilty of innumerable counts of murder. I now sentence you to thirteen consecutive life terms, with no chance of parole for fifty years. Do you have anything to say?

Kevin (resigned) - School's out.

Dissolve to Kevin in a solitary confinement cell. The sounds of other prisoners in the distance and the slamming of bars can be heard. The only light is from through the small barred window of his cell. Kevin is awake, disliking his confinement.

Kevin - Eugene has let me down.

Suddenly, the image of the Principal-ghost from MS9 appears, hovering at Kevin's bedside.

Principal - You let yourself down.

Kevin (sneering) - What do you know, the ghost of my dead Principal... What is it this time?

Principal - It's not too late. You can still be saved.

Kevin - I don't believe in any of that Jesus stuff.

Principal (doubtful) - You don't?

The Principal's ghost fades away, and the image of Jesus appears in the darkness over Kevin's bed, illuminating the room. A Heavenly choir begins to sing and beautiful music can be heard. Kevin takes on a strange change of heart.

Kevin (excited) - I believe! I believe!

Dissolve to Kevin, holding a book of matches.

Kevin - I'm as ugly as sin. I must purify myself if I am to be made whole.

Kevin lights one of the matches, and puts it up to his face. It bursts into flames. He screams in agony.

Dissolve to a conference room, where the warden is having a meeting with a court attourney.

Attourney - I don't see why he's allowed to transfer to a safehouse. It's outrageous! He killed all those people! Do you really believe he's born-again? Or what about his rantings that an evil teddy bear is coming to kill him?

Warden - It's hard to believe, but it's better this way. He's a danger to the other prisoners, and to himself. I'm not sure how he got those matches. He's made a deal to give us information about unsolved crimes dating years back. Besides, the Solicitor General has already approved it.

Then we dissolve to a series of bizarre, yet meaningful images.

People's faces are superimposed over the school hallway in sequence. They fade away, and are replaced by others.

The clown. The clown named Paul. The clown named Paul acting scary.

Kevin's Brother Lafe (killed in My School III): Kevin's a retard, Kevin's a retard.

Kevin killing his mother, quickly cutting to the skull, screaming!!!

Teddy with wine glass "A toast to Kevin Markson!..."

Kevin's Father: You've been a very bad boy!

Mr. Skorman (Frank Wiechel) from Mastermind, all gooped up.

Carol, screaming her head off.

Freaky flashes of Virgil Pembury. Unused footage. Virgil Pembury making a grisly appearance, his face all whited up.

Carl Jr. and Eugene warily spy on Dr. Fallow's back yard through the crack between fence pickets. Carl Jr. pulls back and swallows a big lump in his throat.

Carl Jr. (resignedly) - I suppose there's no other way.

Carl Jr. walks into the yard and goes to the garden. He sees the hole in which lives the Voice. The hole sees Carl jr approaching. A sudden gust of wind blows hard. Carl Jr's hair flaps like a flag. Eugene is blown from Carl Jr's hands. Eugene, screaming in terror, goes flying into the hole.

Carl Jr. (screaming) - TEDDY!!

The wind subsides instantaneously. Eugene crawls out. He is covered with green pus. Eugene runs over to a bird bath, jumps into it, and begins to wash off the pus. Carl Jr. sits down beside the hole.

Carl Jr. (nervously) - Mr. Markson. We have answered your summons. We thought Dr. Fallow destroyed you.

The Voice - HA! HA! HA! HA! SO LONG AS KEVIN LIVES, SO TOO DO I. DR. FALLOW WAS AN INSIGNIFICANT FOOL.

Carl Jr. - Where is Kevin? We would kill him!

The Voice - WHERE HE HAS BEEN FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS. THE HOUSE HE WAS BORN IN.

Note--overdub "The house he was born in" overtop of establishing shot of Kevin's safehouse.

Kevin wakes up. He shakes his head. He gets up and looks down into the basement. He shivers with fear. He backs away and rushes to a window. He peers through the blinds and sees the sentries on duty.

Kevin (weak) - They're out there... (turns to basement) - ...But what's in here...?

Carl Jr. and Eugene walk up to the bus. They almost round its back corner when suddenly Dr. Fallow, now much older than in the dream, steps into view. He glowers at Carl Jr. and grabs him with his metal hand. He lifts Carl Jr. up off his feet. Show Carl Jr's feet dangling in the air. Carl Jr. tries to pry Dr. Fallow's grip off his neck, but fails and continues choking. Dr. Fallow hurls Teddy away. Use many shots of Teddy flying through the air to show he has been thrown several kilometres through the air and into the famous garbage can.

Dr. Fallow (demented/nasty) - I won't let you assassinate me...

Carl Jr. (choking) - I don't want to kill you, but if you don't let go of me, I might change my mind!

Dr. Fallow lets Carl Jr. fall to the ground, but grinds his foot into Carl Jr's neck, pinning him to the ground.

Dr. Fallow (pitiful) - For twenty years, I've lived in fear that the Voice would come back to life. Would seek me out. Would seek revenge. It has sent you to kill me!

Carl Jr. (gasping, irate) - Look, you twisted old fruit, you're really beginning to piss me off!

Carl Jr. pushes off Dr. Fallow, then grabs him and hurls him into the bus. Carl Jr. grabs Dr. Fallow's head and smashes it viciously into the bus. Blood splatters on bus. Dr. Fallow's face is cut. Dr. Fallow reaches out with his metal hand and crushes Carl Jr's shoulder.

Yucky sound of bone snapping. Carl Jr. collapses to the ground.

Dr. Fallow grabs a nearby solid metal pipe and smashes it into Carl Jr's back. Dr. Fallow smiles, evidently enjoying his perceived victory.

He swings down again, but Carl Jr. rolls to the side and scrambles away, limping. Dr. Fallow hurls the pipe and it goes through Carl Jr. like a spear, sticking right through him.

Some dramatic intercuts between Dr. Fallow walking closer and Carl Jr. straining to pull the pipe out. Just as Dr. Fallow closes in, the pipe comes out. Carl Jr. places it down beside a large rock. Carl Jr. grabs the large rock and smashes it into Dr. Fallow's hand. Hear a clink! sound. Undeterred, Carl Jr. smashes it into Dr. Fallow's crotch. Hear a clink! sound. Third smash goes into Dr. Fallow's skull. Dr. Fallow screams and crashes to the ground. Carl Jr. repetitively smashes the rock down over and over into Dr. Fallow's head. Final shot overdub some raw hamburger overtop where the head goes, showing the result.

Carl Jr. (glowering) - Where's that goddamn bear? It didn't even bother to help me!

Scowling, Carl Jr. goes off looking for Eugene.

Principal Newman arrives in front of Kevin's house. He steps out and goes to the front door. The many sentries and snipers guarding the house take aim at him. Principal Newman approaches the two sentries at the front door in a friendly way.

Principal Newman (nice) - I'm here to speak with Kevin Markson.

Sentry 1 (gruff) - No one is allowed inside. Not even the King. Get lost!

Prof. Newman (cheerful) - I'm really sorry to disagree with you pal, but I will visit with Kevin.

Sentry 2 (butch) - Sir, I would escort you back to your vehicle. Our house guest will be receiving no one.

Principal Newman does not budge. Tension grows.

He punches Sentry 2 in the face, grabs Sentry 2's rifle before Sentry 1 can react, and rams the nozzle viciously into Sentry 1's mouth. He fires. The slug goes through Sentry 1 and then through Sentry 2 as well. Blood, tons of it, goops all over the place. Both sentries fall, dead.

Newman enters Kevin's house. He slowly approaches Kevin, who sits in a chair, his back turned on both Newman and the camera. He does not see Newman.

Kevin (innocently) - Principal Newman, why did you kill the sentries? Killing is wrong.

Principal Newman - If killing accomplishes something good and beneficial, is it still wrong?

Kevin (grimly) - I wouldn't know.

Carl Jr, still favouring his wounds, stumbles up to the garbage bin. He bashes his fists against the metal sides, making a noisy ruckus.

Carl Jr. (screaming) - Teddy! Teddy, come out and face me!

Teddy crawls over the edge and jumps on Carl Jr. Carl Jr. screams in fear, and they begin rolling around the ground. Carl Jr. flicks Teddy off and stomps on the bear. Teddy squeals in pain. Carl Jr. pulls out his knife and holds it against Teddy's throat, holding him against the side of the bin.

Carl Jr. (violently mad) - You coward! You left me alone against Dr. Fallow! You gave up on me!

Carl Jr. begins to sob at his perceived betrayal.

Teddy (unconcerned) - A warrior like you can't even defend himself against an old man! How do you expect to destroy Kevin?

Carl Jr. shakes with fury and drives his knife at Teddy. The Voice shouts and Carl Jr. is held short by an invisible force.

The Voice (booming) - DESIST!

Carl Jr. resists it, but fails to harm Teddy. He relents.

The Voice (disgusted) - YOU TWO ARE A TEAM, NOT ADVERSARIES. FOCUS YOUR AGGRESSIONS AGAINST KEVIN MARKSON, NOT EACH OTHER.

Teddy (shakes with terror) - We know Kevin's hidden in the house he was born in. But we cannot penetrate the psychic barrier protecting him.

The Voice (scholarly) - KEVIN'S FAITH IN THE POWERS OF GOOD HAS GENERATED THAT PROTECTION. YOU MUST HAVE FAITH IN THE POWERS OF EVIL TO OVERRIDE IT.

Carl Jr. (sulking) - How? I already have faith in my need for revenge.

The Voice (ominously) - KILL YOUR SCHOOLMATES. THEIR DEATHS WILL ALLOW YOU TO TELEPORT INTO HIS SANCTUARY. AND THEN, KEVIN SHALL DIE.

Carl Jr. and Teddy glare at each other. Carl Jr. grabs Teddy roughly and hauls him along, trotting towards Ian Briggs High.

The Skull receives a flash of Dr. Fallow's death.

The Skull (sadly) - Your enemies have killed another. I must comfort his soul.

The Skull dematerialises. Principal Newman presses on Kevin.

Principal Newman - I thought your mother would never leave! You see this? This is 15 years (shows manuscript) - worth of work! Research of your life!

Kevin (shocked) - Of my life?

Principal Newman (proudly) - I'm your number one fan! Read it!

Kevin scans through some pages. He shakes his head.

Kevin (disgusted) - I cannot authorise this manuscript. It seems to celebrate my destructive past. I would like you to rewrite it. Give it a more Christian context.

Principal Newman (aghast) - I can't do that! No one would read it!

Kevin - I have converted to a more positive outlook. I endorse life, not death. You must write how others can follow my example and forsake evil for good. I have done so, and this symbolic talisman protects me.

Kevin shows Principal Newman a glowing crucifix.

Principal Newman (hurt) - You need time to think about my (excited) thesis. Let's go! I can break you out of this prison!

Kevin (shocked, pleads) - No! No! I cannot leave. I was born here; I must stay.

Principal Newman (enthused) - What, are you becoming a monk? I can set you free! To kill again! A new chapter to your biography!

Kevin (calmly) - I am safe here. I am good in here. You must leave me; one can only be good when one is alone--

A noise sounds from the basement. Principal Newman runs over to the basement stairwell and looks down into the darkness.

Principal Newman (tense) - You're not home alone! Who was that?

Principal Newman begins to slowly descend. Kevin jumps down onto his knees and holds his hands in prayer.

Kevin (pleading) - Please, Principal Newman, don't go down there! Evil lurks--

A horrible scream emanates from the basement. Kevin grabs his talisman. Clenching it, he collapses and scrambles on his knees to a corner. He cowers in fear, whimpering, caressing his crucifix.

Carl Jr. looks about nervously, then sneaks inside the front entrance. He slinks to Locker 666, and opens it. Inside is a bow and arrow. He turns and sees Neil approaching from down the hall.

Neil (friendly) - Hey, Carl Jr, I missed you at the trig test today.

Carl Jr. pulls out the bow and arrow and readies it.

Carl Jr. - The square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides.

Neil sees Carl Jr's weapon and drops his books in surprise.

Neil (terrified) - Say, there's a ten million-yen reward for your arrest...

Carl Jr. (stolidly) - Can't collect if you're dead.

Carl Jr. fires. It impales Neil in the dick. Neil screams and stumbles backwards. Carl Jr. fires a second arrow. It goes into Neil's eye. The impact sends him flying to the ground, dead. Carl Jr. slowly pulls out the arrow. It makes a sick, squishy sound. The eyeball is attached. Carl Jr. eats it.

Carl Jr. (with relish) - All in favour, say eye.

Carl Jr. tosses away the arrow and reaches for the other one. He pulls back, noticing from where it is sticking out.

Carl Jr. (reluctantly) - Uhhhh...maybe not.

The Voice (angrily) - QUICKLY! HIDE THE BODY!

Carl Jr. drags the body away. He spies a washroom and drags it inside. There, Nicko is washing his face. The sink is full of water.

Nicko notices Carl Jr. dragging in Neil's corpse.

Nicko (surprised) - Hey, what the...?

Too late, Carl Jr. is on him. Carl Jr. holds both fists together and wallops Nicko in the head. Carl Jr. grabs Nicko's head and forces it down towards the sink. Nicko resists, his face barely above water. Carl Jr. snarls and gives a mighty shove down. Nicko submerges. Wild bubbles froth forth. Nicko raises his head to gasp for breath before being forced under.

Carl Jr. obsessively holds Nicko's head under, despite kicking and flailing limbs. Finally, the limbs go limp. No more bubbles. Carl Jr. lets Nicko's dead body fall to the floor.

Carl Jr. (nasty) - Sink or swim, Nicko.

Carl Jr. walks away, but notices his reflection in the mirrors. He noisily draws some phlegm into his throat and spits a giant glob of bloody hork onto his reflection. We see his reflection walk off as the bloody hork slowly dribbles downward...

Kevin hears pained moaning sounds and looks over. He howls in terror at Principal Newman crawling up the basement stairs. His right arm has been removed, and his clothes are ripped and torn. His face is battered and bloodied. He is a mess. He manages to place his blood- soaked manuscript out in front of him, but does not let go.

Principal Newman (weak) - Help me...Kevin. Protect my manuscript for posterity...Don't--

He screams and is dragged downstairs by the unseen creature. Kevin cowers as he hears Newman's pain-filled screams. Then, the screaming stops. Kevin shakes his head, does the RC cross thing, then buries his head in his knees.

The Sensor sits in front of a circular table. She presses a special device, and the tabletop begins to broadcast images from My School 7 involving her. We see the Sensor frowning and concentrating as she sees the images. Cut to actual/pseudo-footage from My School 7.

Clearly identify with character generator the time period.

**1988: The Sensor is talking to William Davison. She hands him a folder that clearly says TIME MACHINE BLUEPRINT.

**William** - Fascinating! Mr Skorman will be really interested in this!

**The Sensor** - Remember, William, to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow. Live long and prosper.**

The Sensor presses a button on her gadget.

**1990: The Sensor** - I have come to help you. And to put an end to the evil we have all released.

**1990: The Sensor** - Virgil may be no more, but Kevin is very much with us.

A shot of Kevin's basement. The creature within growls in reply.

**1990: The Sensor** - It is not a battle of victory and defeat. It is a maintenance of perfect balance, and we must return to the trenches.

The Sensor gets up and presses on her gadget. The monitor shows:

**2005: Carl Jr. being shot and killed in Ian Briggs High by Mr Russell, the same scene we will later see (Scene 40).**

The Sensor (wearily) - I must return to the trenches.

The Sensor shuts off the time table's visual scanner. She sets some dials on the time gadget.

The Sensor (solemnly) - I am going to fail in 1990. That is still in my future. But if Carl Jr. does not act appropriately in 2005, then Carol's progeny will end, and I will never be born.

The Sensor walks over to a transporter pad. She looks determined.

The Sensor - I can't let Carl Jr. falter.

The Sensor activates the transporter. She dematerialises with the same special effects as William's time machine in My School 7.

Kevin and the Skull are weeping and mourning. Kevin holds the bloodied remains of Principal Newman's jacket in his hands.

Kevin (sobbing) - I thought this house was safe from evil! I thought my talisman would retard any iniquity!

The Skull (matter-of-fact) - Nowhere is free of darkness. We simply must not allow it to take us over.

Kevin (resigned) - I'm so ashamed of my past. Maybe I should step outside and let the Doom Bear destroy me.

The Skull (plainly) - A suicide is simply an introverted murder. And you've forsaken killing. You must remain inside and face your destiny.

Kevin knocks the back of his head repetitively into the wall.

Carl Jr. runs down a flight of stairs. He fails to see a school teacher ascending the stairs. They collide. Carl Jr. glares at the teacher. The teacher looks at Carl Jr, shocked.

Mr. Russell (dismayed) - Carl Jr! Why haven't you attended class this week?

Carl Jr. (insolently) - None of your goddamn business! Get outta my way!

Carl Jr. tries to push past Mr. Russell, but Mr. Russell grabs him.

As Mr. Russell speaks, the Sensor materialises nearby, out of sight.

Mr. Russell (voice on/over) - You flippant young hoodlum! You've got a DT in my office! Now march!

The Sensor (to herself) - I can't allow Mr. Russell to interrupt Carl Jr's imminent future. He has my destiny to fulfil...

The Sensor raises her hands and fires a beam of electricity. Cut back to Mr. Russell and Carl Jr. Carl Jr. raises his fist to try strike Mr. Russell, but Mr. Russell catches the fist and squeezes it in his own hand. Sound of bone snapping. Carl Jr. grimaces in pain.

Mr. Russell pulls out a gun and prepares to fire it at Carl Jr, but the electricity bolt hits Mr. Russell in the head. He drops, unconscious. Carl Jr. frees himself and looks over to where the bolt came from. THE SENSOR IS GONE. Carl Jr. flexes his crushed hand.

Carl Jr. - Teddy's playing mind games with me. I'm starting to get a wee bit miffed.

Carl Jr. gives Mr. Russell's prone body a kick, then heads off.

Carl Jr. runs down a corridor, rubbing his broken shoulder. He stops, having spied a nearby female (Alana) glancing impatiently at her watch. Alana barely sees Carl Jr. duck back behind a hall corner.

Alana (bitchy, hand on hip) - Nicko! Hurry up ya fag, I don't got all day y'know!

Carl Jr. tenses and prepares to slaughter her. As he does, we hear Alana still bitching. We must present her as a real nag.

Alana (voice over) - Nicko, if you don't get your ass over here, I'll castrate you with a dull butterknife! Hurry up! What the hell are you doing! Nicko, goddammit, I'm not in the mood! NICKO! Jesus Christ! Would you get over here! (etc., ad nauseam)

During this tirade, Carl Jr, in MS and MCU, has wrapped some rope around his knuckles like a strangler would. He flexes and tenses the rope as Alana bitches away. On "Jesus Christ!", Carl Jr. springs to go kill her, but a restraining hand holds him back. Incensed, Carl Jr. sees who it was. IT IS THE SENSOR!

The Sensor (stern) - Don't do it, Carl Jr!

Carl Jr. (as a soccer thug) - Who the hell are you!?

The Sensor - I'm from the United Human Safety Committee. I travel through time and space.

Carl Jr. (sarcastic) - A time traveller, eh? Guess that makes the expiry date on milk cartons sort of irrelevant. (threateningly) Now who are you, really...?

The Sensor - A friend of your parents. And a descendant of yours.

--Insert of Alana puzzled over what's going on--

Carl Jr. (spastic) - Descendant! Time traveller! Look you lunatic old witch, I think I'd just as soon kill you!

Carl Jr. makes a threatening move towards the Sensor, but she activates a device which freezes Carl Jr. in suspended animation. She approaches him and puts her fingers on his temples like a Vulcan mind meld, similar to her mind meld in My School 7. She whispers in a hypnotic way to him.

The Sensor - I can feel the rage and hatred burning in your heart. I can feel your isolation and loneliness. But no matter, you must continue the Dixon line. You are tainted by the Doom Bear's curse, as your mother was, and as I am.

The Sensor pauses, then becomes obsessed, driven.

The Sensor - You could easily end the curse by having no sons. By ending your family tree. But I wish to be born. The history books say the girl down the hall is my ancestor. You must make it so...

She releases the mind meld. Carl Jr. shakes his head and looks about.

The Sensor is nowhere to be seen. Carl Jr. stares at the rope in his hand. Alana glances at her watch, then storms towards the corner.

Alana (storms down hall) - Alright Nicko, you're dead meat--

Alana rounds the corner, runs into Carl Jr. Carl Jr. flexes his rope.

Carl Jr. (leering evilly) - Hello girlfriend...

Teddy is hiding in a garbage can. He leans over the edge, watching.

Along comes a headbanger, Bruce, wearing historic Iron Maiden garb and weird futuristic headphones. He carries school books. He goes to his locker and opens it. He pulls out a tape of Iron Maiden's "No Prayer for the Dying" album and puts it in his Walkman.

Bruce (excited) - Wow! The Twentieth Century sure had some far-out tunes!

Bruce puts the tape in the Walkman and closes his locker and walks past the garbage can. TEDDY IS NO LONGER THERE!

Bruce ascends some stairs. A couple POV shots from atop the staircase balcony watching Bruce climb. Teddy is revealed. When Bruce is right below, Teddy dives down on the student. The school books go flying. Bruce and Teddy scuffle about. Ferocious bear sounds.

Teddy bites into Bruce's face and tears off a strand of skin. Bruce screams in pain. Teddy grabs a protractor and tears it down Bruce's shirt. The cut bleeds through the shirt. Finally, Teddy takes the protractor and stabs it into Bruce's head. Bruce dies.

Teddy (sadistically) - I'd better inform his teachers he won't be attending class today.

Teddy grabs Bruce's wallet and opens it. He pulls out a card.

Teddy (delighted) - Well, whaddaya know! An organ donor card!

Teddy tears into Bruce's stomach. Bruce begins donating some organs.

A final shot of Bruce on the floor dissolves into--

--A shot of Alana lying on the floor. Carl Jr. stares thoughtfully at her. He frowns in horror at the realisation of what he has done, then runs off. As he runs down the hall, we hear the Sensor's voice in his head:

The Sensor (overdub) - She will begat the New Year's Baby of 2006. My great-great-great-great- great-great-great-great-great-great- grandfather...

Carl Jr. keeps running, then trips and collapses on the floor. He pounds his fists into the floor. Then, as he hears more voices in his head, he pushes his hands over his ears. He acts demented. He tries to suppress the voices in his skull.

The Voice - You must kill more students!

The Sensor - You have allowed me to be born!

Teddy - Kill again! Kill again! Kill again!

Carl Jr. closes his eyes and keeps driving his fists into his temples.

Then, Steve notices Carl Jr's predicament and runs over to help.

Steve (bends down to see) - Hey bud, you need some help?

Steve puts his binders down and reaches to Carl Jr. with care. All the while, the same three sentences from above keep recycling in Carl Jr's head, never ending. Finally, he snaps. His eyes open suddenly (in horror movie tradition). He grabs one of Steve's binders and rams it against Steve's throat. This forces Steve against the wall.

Carl Jr. drives the edge of the binder deeper into Steve's throat.

Steve is decapitated by the binder. Steve's head is perched atop his binder. Carl Jr. gazes down at it. We see Steve's headless body below the binder, resting against the lockers.

Carl Jr. - Don't lose your head, Steve.

Carl Jr. tosses the binder aside and heads away. He leaves the area.

Teddy opens a doorway, and walks into a hall. He runs down the hall. He runs past Carl Jr. who is hidden behind a corner of lockers, or a door entrance, etc. Carl Jr. watches as Teddy runs into a washroom.

Teddy jumps up onto a toilet and starts to drink from it. A spooky shot of the washroom door opening. A shot of Carl Jr's boots walking in. A POV shot approaching the toilet cubicle. Teddy still drinks when suddenly Carl Jr. grabs him. Teddy screams. Carl Jr, glowering, marches Teddy over to the sinks and turns a HOT tap on full blast.

As he waits for the water to heat up, he snarls at Teddy.

Carl Jr. (angrily) - You fowl, filthy bear! You use me to kill your enemies, but when one of my enemies, like Dr. Fallow, tries to kill me, you run away and hide. Try hide from me now!

Carl Jr. plugs the drain and begins filling the sink with hot water.

Teddy (pleading) - No, Carl Jr, no! Remember what Mr Markson said! We are a team!

Carl Jr. (nasty) - This team's about to go under...

Carl Jr. rams Teddy into the sink. Teddy thrashes about, drowning. Bubbles erupt from his mouth, but still Carl Jr. holds him down by the neck. Green mucus slime spews from Teddy and floats to the surface. Then, suddenly, the lights flicker and go out.

The Voice - CARL JR! I'VE WARNED YOU ONCE ALREADY. YOU WILL NOT HARM THAT BEAR AGAIN. YOUR OBJECTIVE IS KEVIN MARKSON, NOT EACH OTHER

The lights come back on. Carl Jr. looks down at the sink. TEDDY IS GONE! Carl Jr. starts looking ill and begins heaving. He vomits abundantly into the sink, then starts convulsing. TEDDY BEGINS TO EMERGE FROM HIS MOUTH! Soon, Teddy and more bile splats into the sink. TEDDY HOLDS CARL JR'S STILL-PUMPING HEART!

Teddy - Make no mistake about it, Carl Jr. I possess you, heart and soul!

Teddy throws the heart. It sails over the toilet cubicles and into a urinal. Carl Jr. feels his chest, then his wrist.

Carl Jr. (shocked) - I have no pulse...!

The Voice (booming) - I HAVE ALLOWED THE DOOM BEAR TO PUNISH YOU FOR YOUR ERRORS, CARL JR. SEE TO IT YOU OBEY HIM IN ALL THINGS. YOU AND HE MUST DESTROY KEVIN MARKSON. NOW GO AND COLLECT YOUR MASTER.

Carl Jr, shaken, picks up Teddy and places him in the urinal.

Carl Jr. - We must kill Kevin Markson. But first, you should shower off.

Carl Jr. and Teddy exit the school and run smack into four school-age toughs. Two males, CuddleCakes and CreamPuff, are dressed in female clothing, wear lipstick and makeup and stubble, and carry purses.

The two females, Spike and Beef, are dressed in suit and tie and baseball caps, chew gum, and grab their crotch in a male manner. The gang carry assorted weapons: knives, chains, a whip, and a gun.

Carl Jr. (surprised) - The New Democrats!

One of the she-males approaches Carl Jr, cockily. He has the gun.

CuddleCakes (teasing) - What's with the teddy bear, Carl Jr? I always thought you were a sissy.

Teddy (tauntingly) - Give me your best shot, big guy!

CuddleCakes looks shocked that the bear spoke. He aims his laser rifle at Teddy and fires. The laser ray strikes Teddy and deflects onto Beef. Beef disintegrates. The New Democrats ready their weapons and advance. Carl Jr. flings Teddy at CuddleCakes. Teddy latches onto him. CuddleCakes loses his gun. They fall to the ground, fighting.

Carl Jr. grabs the gun and swings it like an axe into the side of CreamPuff's face. He goes flying to the ground. Spike flicks his whip and whips the gun out of Carl Jr's hands. CuddleCakes and Teddy are still fighting. Carl Jr. grabs CreamPuff's bicycle chain and hurls it like a boomerang at Spike. It sails into Spike's neck, sending her flying to the ground. She looks up to see Carl Jr. flying down on her. Carl Jr. uses the bicycle chain to strangle Spike, who horks up blood and chokes to death.

Just then, CreamPuff grabs Carl Jr's jaw from behind and tries to lift Carl Jr's head back. Carl Jr. elbows CreamPuff in the abdomen.

CreamPuff doubles over, barfing up blood. Carl Jr. grabs CreamPuff's arm and snaps it in half, bending it to a ninety-degree angle. CreamPuff collapses. He looks up to see Carl Jr. standing over him. Carl Jr. inserts his hand into CreamPuff's abdomen and removes some intestines. He shoves them into CreamPuff's mouth. CreamPuff dies.

CuddleCakes manages to pry Teddy loose and sees Carl Jr's carnage.

CuddleCakes runs away. Carl Jr. chases after him. CuddleCakes runs over a hill and descends past a pond of water. Panting, he looks about and sees the entrance to a sewer tunnel. He runs to it and goes inside. Carl Jr. runs over the hilltop and down to the pond. He scans for his prey, No one is about. Carl Jr. growls in anger.

Just then, three poles with fish heads attached to them materialise in the pond near the rock. Carl Jr. dematerialises and reappears on the rock beside the fish head sticks. He addresses them.

Carl Jr. - Where did the animal hide?

As if in answer, the fish head sticks swivel so that the fish heads point towards the sewer tunnel entrance. Carl Jr. turns to see the sewer tunnel entrance, then promptly dematerialises. Inside the dark and spooky sewer tunnel, CuddleCakes moves further and further inside. He stops and rests, looking about in paranoia.

Carl Jr. materialises deep inside the sewer tunnel. CuddleCakes sees this and screams in fear. He turns to run back towards the entrance.

Carl Jr. chases after him. CuddleCakes runs for dear life toward the metal grille. Carl Jr. pursues. Hand-held POV shot chasing after

CuddleCakes, Dutch-tilt style like in Alien3. CuddleCakes reaches the grille and tries to push it open. As he does, Carl Jr's hand grabs him and pulls him, screaming in terror, back into the sewer tunnel. The screams echo about, then fade.

Teddy materialises onto the rock. He looks up at the fish heads.

Teddy (satisfied) - I do believe that Carl Jr. is most ready to deal with Kevin Markson...

SCENE 46 - INT - KEVIN'S SAFE HOUSE, BEDROOM C

Kevin is on the floor, leaning against a wall, reading from the Gideon Bible. The Skull turns to him.

The Skull (sadly) - There has been another massacre at your alma mater. The final massacre. More eager, young students.

Kevin bursts into tears of grief.

Kevin (sniffling, sobbing) - Imagine the grief their poor parents will feel...The everlasting sadness of those families...

The Skull (firmly) - As I said, it will be known there as the final horror. A new dawn arises.

Kevin (tentatively) - Why haven't you gone to comfort their souls...?

The Skull - Because I'm waiting to comfort yours.

Kevin breaks into tears again and curls up in the fetal position.

Carl Jr. and Teddy approach Kevin's house. They go past the gate and to the back door. Carl Jr. tries the doorknob, but receives a shock.

Carl Jr. (glares at Teddy) - You knew that would happen! I thought you said we'd achieved sufficient energy to overcome the force field?

Teddy - We need just a little bit more to push us over the edge. Mr. Markson, what do you suggest?

The Voice - PREPARE YOURSELVES. I HAVE THE MEANS TO TRANSPORT YOU INSIDE...

A beam of energy shoots from the hole in Dr. Fallow's garden and envelopes Carl Jr. and Teddy. Use SPFX to have them shrink in size. Now as microscopic midgets, they transform into snakes.

The Voice - ENTER THE HOUSE THROUGH THE DRAINPIPE!

Teddy-snake and Carl Jr-snake slither along the sidewalk to the drainpipe. They leap in the air and slide inside the drainpipe.

Kevin is in the kitchen, chopping up some carrots with a knife. He hears an intercom whistle. He leaves the kitchen. As he does, we see

Teddy-snake and Carl Jr-snake slithering up onto the counter.

Kevin activates the vidphone and the Police Chief appears on it.

Kevin (concerned) - Yes, Chief?

Police Chief - Kevin, there has been another massacre at your school. We have also been unable to raise your security detachment. Is everything all right?

We hear Kevin's speaking as Carl Jr-snake and Teddy-snake, now on the kitchen floor, reform into their true selves.

This causes the vidphone screen to wash out and break up.

Kevin (voiceover) - I fear it's getting near the end. People are dying all around me. My friend, God be with you...

Police Chief - Kevin, do you have-----ny informa---- --bout th-----llings at----ggs High---

Kevin (banging monitor) - Chief! Chief! I'm losing you!

Voice of Teddy - At long last! Kevin Markson, it is time to die!

Kevin whirls around. There he confronts Teddy and Carl Jr.

Kevin (shocked) - Teddy! Carl Jr! But how did you--

Teddy (nasty) - The forces of evil are always more mighty than the forces of good. As you shall soon discover!

Carl Jr. takes out his handy knife and lunges at Kevin. Kevin side-steps Carl Jr. and runs upstairs. Crazy hand-held camera follows him from behind. Teddy generates some mental energy.

Kevin rushes to a bedroom, and is about to enter it, when he sees Carl Jr. already inside it! Kevin backpeddles and runs to a different bedroom. Kevin 7 lunges at him! Kevin turns and opens the door to the next room. Kevin 8 lunges at him! Kevin goes to the washroom door, but Kevin 9 is there! Kevin screams and runs downstairs. At the bottom of the stairs waits

Carl Jr! Kevin runs down the stairs and bodychecks Carl Jr. out of the way. He runs past and kicks Teddy out of the way. The three evil

Kevins stalk him. Kevin descends to the basement. He looks back, checking for the other three. Waiting in the basement is Carl Jr.

Carl Jr. (threateningly) - At long last! You killed my parents. And now, I will kill you!

Carl Jr. lifts his knife to slay Kevin, when the other three Kevins enter the room. Kevin screams in fear. Carl Jr. looks over and sees the three Kevins. Kevin 9 in particular mesmerises him. Carl Jr. remembers ten years earlier, when Kevin 9 tried to kill him as a child. Flashbacks to My School 9.

Carl Jr. (shocked) - Kevin...! Four Kevins...!

Carl Jr. lets Kevin drop to the ground, and moves over to Kevin 9.

More quick flashbacks. Carl Jr. advances on Kevin 9, who backs away in fear. Carl Jr. lifts his knife. Teddy materialises.

Teddy (shouting) - No, Carl Jr! They aren't your enemies!

Carl Jr. ignores Teddy, so Teddy fires a beam of energy which sends Carl Jr. flying against a wall, and down.

Teddy (evilly quiet) - But I am! (commands others) - Destroy him!

The three Kevins advance on Carl Jr's prone form and crowd onto him. We don't see what they do, but we hear Carl Jr's pained screams. After awhile, the screams subside. The three Kevins are blood-splattered. All that is left of Carl Jr. is a blob of raw meat and intestines, intermixed in his clothes. The Skull materialises near Carl Jr's remains.

The Skull - Carl Dixon Jr, I release your soul to purgatory...

Teddy fires a mental beam at the Skull. The Skull is destroyed.

Kevin (shocked) - Moooootherrrrr!

Kevin lays on the floor and cries. The other three Kevins advance on him. Teddy encourages them on with cries of "Kill him! Destroy him!" etcetera. Kevin 7 grabs Kevin's collar and pulls him up.

Kevin 8 punches him in the head repeatedly. Kevin's gauze bandages show signs of bleeding. Kevin is throw against a wall. The other

Kevins kick him and abuse him some more. They step back to survey their carnage. Kevin, moaning, gets up and glares at Teddy.

Kevin (weakly) - You are a creature of evil, Teddy. You will be punished for your sins. I am a good person. I won't resort to your tactics.

Teddy (snarling) - You are an imposter!

Kevin (proudly) - I am Kevin. I will always be Kevin. You cannot take that away from me!

Teddy - We won't take away your name, but we'll take away your life!

Kevin sees the evil Kevins advance again. Kevin does a mock magic trick and produces a vase of beautiful flowers. He holds them out against the evil Kevins. They cower and shrink away from them. Kevin limps forward and uses the flowers to force the evil Kevins away.

They hold their hands up as if being blinded by the sun. Kevin forces them down a hallway. Teddy is irate.

Teddy (angry) - Fools! The flowers shan't hurt you!

Kevin has the three evil Kevins trapped in a basement room.

Kevin - This should put you to sleep. Sweet dreams...

Kevin shakes the flowers at the Kevins. He forces them back, then   places the vase inside the room near the door. The Kevins remain inside, terrified of the flowers. Kevin runs up to the main level and to the vidphone. He turns it on. All he gets is static, as before. A shot of Teddy's paws pulling the plug. The vidphone goes dead. Kevin looks about to see what has happened. His POV of Teddy flying in the air at him.

Teddy is on top of Kevin, biting him. Kevin screams in pain. Kevin shakes off Teddy and runs to the kitchen.

Kevin (panicked) - Where is the Holy Book? I left it in here somewhere...

A green-tinted low Teddy POV shot of Kevin rummaging in the kitchen. Then, camera advances on Kevin's feet...Just as Teddy is about to latch onto Kevin's foot, the foot comes smashing down on top of Teddy. Over and over.

Kevin (while he stomps) - I am good by destroying evil! I am good by destroying evil! I am good by destroying evil...

Kevin grabs Teddy, and looks about. Then, he sees the blender! Kevin rushes over and rams Teddy into it.

Kevin (sorrowfully) - Forgive me, Father...

He turns on the blender. Around and around Teddy goes. Spinning POV. A shot of brown muck in blender amidst Teddy's screams. Kevin heaves a sigh and shuts off the blender. He takes the blender to the toilet and dumps the Teddy-muck in. He is about to flush the lever when he starts to gag and collapses. He is becoming violently ill. He staggers to his sleeping bag and lays on it, heaving.

Stop-motion time at the toilet. The Teddy-goop reassembles and crawls up onto the rim, then splatters down onto the floor in two pools. Each pool slowly reassembles into a separate Teddy! Cut between the development stages and Kevin gagging on the sleeping bag.

Teddy 1 and Teddy 2 slip out and spy on Kevin.

Kevin has his eyes closed. He opens them to see Teddy 1 and Teddy 2 surrounding him!

Teddy 1 - No hugs and kisses for us, Kevin?

Teddy 2 - Two bears or not two bears, that is the question!

Kevin screams in terror. He shudders in fear.

Teddy 1 - Prepare to die!

Some dramatic facial closeups of all three. Teddy 1 and Teddy 2 each generate a mind energy beam and fire it at Kevin. Kevin ducks, and the Teddys' beams hit each other! Screaming, both burst into flame and burn. Kevin backs away from the two globules that remain.

Kevin (saddened) - Goodbye, my furry friend... Time to put away old toys.

He heads upstairs to the toilet to mend his wounds. He begins to take off his bandages.

Meanwhile, the three evil Kevins have overcome the spiritual forcefield of the flowers, and are breaking out of their cell!

Kevin upwraps his bandages to reveal a horribly burnt face. He moans in agony and picks some skin off his face. He eats it. Suddenly, the evil Kevins attack! The evil Kevins throttle Kevin. Kevin chokes and vomits green gunge. The evil Kevins force Kevin's head under the water of the sink and drown him. Kevin's life flashes before his eyes.

As Kevin dies, so too does the voice. Flames shoot out of the hole in Doctor Fallow's Garden. Mr. Markson's face is seen among the flames, screaming in agony.

The evil Kevins, their work complete, descend down the stairs and vanish back to their proper timestreams.

A lingering shot of Kevin's corpse. Zoom out from Kevin's safehouse to a long shot.

The house dissolves to a shot of Ian Briggs High School. An audio insert from My School III is heard:

Kevin (reminiscing) - Mommy, can I go to school? My school. My very old school. That is where I first began killing.

The shot of the school dissolves into a similarily-framed shot of Kevin's tombstone. It reads Kevin Markson 1971-2005?

A shadow passes in front of the tombstone. Virgil's laugh is heard.

SCENE 49 - INT - BOOKSTORE, NOVEL RELEASE

The mysterious being who lived in Kevin's basement approaches the bestseller shelf. It picks up a book off a shelf. It reads:

MY SCHOOL -- BY VIRGIL I. PEMBURY

The being--is it Virgil?--laughs like Virgil did, puts book back and walks away. An interested consumer picks up the book and begins to flip through it.

Camera looks over the desolate garden in which the Voice used to live. Use some dissolves. A wind picks up. From out of the Voice's hole the scroll, now old and yellowed, blows out. It blows against the fence and lodges there. It opens up. It reads: THE END
